If I could just…

  • Win the lottery

  • Start over somewhere else

  • Forget my past

  • Not care

Then my life would be perfect!

Do you find yourself overwhelmed, worrying about things that do (or don’t) come true, and struggling to get through the day?

Does it take you hours to fall asleep or you find yourself waking up at 3AM without ever knowing why and nothing seems to help?
If you’ve ever said:

“I’m asking people for help but they’re not doing it”

OR

“I feel like I have to do everything all by myself”

You can leave all of that behind and instead have a life where you are free from worry, stress, and fears. Where you can say “no” (or “yes”!) without feeling guilty or judged by people. Feel comfortable and confident asking others to do things and know that they’ll do it without second-guessing your decision. Have relationships and a life where it feels like being on vacation every day, because that’s how amazing your life is.

We will work together to find sustainable ways to change and grow that help you keep moving forward - not backward - and never lose sight of the things that are most important to you. We will get creative and leave “normal” behind when we develop our plan of attack. Your life isn’t “normal” so why should the solution be? You deserve to live on your terms and center your life around the things that truly matter to you.

FAQs

Q: Things like deep breathing and meditation have never worked before so what’s going to make this any different?

Rather than starting with a generic list of coping strategies we review what is and isn’t working for you and build on the foundation you already have in place. No reinventing the wheel here! Your connection with your therapist is also one of the most important factors that predicts success in therapy.

Q: Yeah stress isn’t great, but is it really that bad?

Yes! Stress is a sign our body is on high alert for a threat (even if that threat is what ice cream flavor to pick). Being in “threat mode” too often leads to increased risk for heart attack, stroke, sleep issues, and memory and concentration issues - and that’s just the start of a very long list.

Q: How do I get started?

Schedule a consult! We’ll meet virtually to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, make sure we’re a good fit to work together, and how I can help you achieve your goals.
